The Warning Sign

The most common sign of bladder cancer is Painless Hematuria (blood in urine without any burning or pain).

Unlike kidney stones which hurt, bladder cancer is often silent. Seeing red or pink urine even once warrants an immediate checkup.

The Solution: TURBT

Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor is an endoscopic procedure. We insert a camera through the urethra and "scrape" the tumor away from the inside.

The Process

From Diagnosis to Cure

We follow a strict protocol to ensure the cancer is removed and doesn't come back.

1. Cystoscopy (The Look)

We pass a tiny flexible camera into the bladder to visually confirm the tumor. This takes 5 minutes under local anesthesia.

2. TURBT (The Removal)

Under spinal anesthesia, we resect (cut) the tumor from the root and send it for biopsy to check its grade.

3. Intravesical Therapy (The Prevention)

Bladder cancer likes to return. We may put special medicine (BCG or Mitomycin) inside the bladder to kill any floating cancer cells.

Know the Difference

Painful Bleeding: Usually Infection or Stones.
Painless Bleeding: Usually Tumor/Cancer.

*Painless bleeding is more dangerous because people ignore it. Do not ignore it.*
